1. What initially drew you into Sales and marketing at The Savoy Collection?
I have always been passionate about hospitality because it sits at the intersection of people, place and experience. The Savoy Collection represents luxury, ambition and strong identity in the heart of Limerick, and that really appealed to me.
The opportunity to oversee sales and marketing across a five-star hotel, a four-star property and multiple food and beverage outlets offered both scale and variety. It was a chance not just to promote venues, but to shape experiences and position the collection strongly in both domestic and International markets.
2. In your role, what do you believe the business does exceptionally well?
We consistently deliver premium hospitality with genuine warmth. High standards are a given, but what truly sets us apart is the personal touch.
Whether it’s a corporate client, a bride and groom, or a leisure guest visiting Limerick, attention to detail and personalised service are central to everything we do.
We also excel at building long-term relationships. A significant proportion of our business is repeat or referral-based, which reflects the trust and loyalty we have developed over the years.
3. What advice would you give yourself if you were stepping into this leadership role for the first time?
Trust your instincts and trust your team. Leadership in hospitality requires decisiveness, but it also requires collaboration. I would remind myself to delegate confidently and focus not only on immediate results, but on building a strong brand foundation for sustainable growth.
Clear communication and consistency are key.
4. From your perspective, where do you see the business evolving in the near future?
I see continued growth in experiential hospitality. Guests and corporate clients are increasingly looking for something memorable and distinctive, whether that’s curated events, immersive dining experiences or bespoke corporate evenings.
Digitally, we will continue to refine our data-led marketing strategies, particularly in overseas markets such as the US and Europe, ensuring The Savoy Collection remains competitive and visible on an international stage.
