The evening provided an opportunity to recognise and thank the dedicated volunteers, committees and individuals who work tirelessly throughout the year to make a positive difference in their local communities.

Speaking at the event, the Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union's Business Development Officer highlighted the important role these organisations play in bringing people together, encouraging participation and fostering a strong sense of community spirit.

"Local clubs and community organisations are the backbone of our communities. Behind every successful club or initiative are dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy to make their communities better places to live.

“We are incredibly proud to support their efforts and recognise the invaluable contribution they make."

The record attendance was also a reflection of the Credit Union's expanding community involvement and its commitment to supporting organisations of all sizes, from sporting clubs and schools to voluntary and community groups.

As a member-owned financial institution, Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union operates on a simple but powerful principle: the more members who choose to save, borrow and avail of its services, the more the Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union can give back to the communities it serves.

This message was reinforced on the night, highlighting the important connection between member support and the Credit Union's ability to continue investing in local organisations.

Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended and to the countless volunteers who continue to strengthen communities across Limerick and North Kerry.

Supporting local people, investing in local communities and helping them thrive remains at the very heart of Cois Sionna Desmond Credit Union.
