Latest forecast suggests it will be a mixed week weather-wise across the country
Temperatures are set to increase again over the coming days and could hit 22 degrees in some places later in the week.
However, Met Eireann says persistent showers will remain and the advice is to keep your umbrella at close quarters.
According to the latest forecast, it will cloudy this Monday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing through the morning, mainly affecting the northern half of the country.
According to Met Éireann, any rain will be heaviest across Ulster and it will be drier further south outside of the odd spot of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, can be expected during the day dropping to between 9 and 13 degrees on Monday night.
Tuesday will be another mostly cloudy day with light patchy rain and drizzle, along with some isolated sunny spells. However, average temperatures will be slightly higher than Monday and will range from 16 to 19 degrees.
