A woman in her 20s has died following a serious assault in Co Tipperary more than three weeks ago, Gardai say.
An Garda Siochana said they are continuing to investigate the incident which happened on the evening of March 21 at Birdhill.
The woman died in Cork University Hospital on Monday.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place.
A family liaison officer has been assigned to support the woman’s family.
A woman in her 40s and a teenage girl arrested in connection with the incident were charged in late March.
