A man in his late teens has been arrested by gardai investigating the death of a man in his 50s in June last year.
James “Jake” Berney was fatally injured in the incident on June 25 2025 and was pronounced dead at Tallaght University Hospital.
The incident happened at a property in Foxdene Drive, Balgaddy, Co Dublin.
On Thursday, gardai said they had arrested an “adult male aged in his late teens” in connection with the investigation.
He was detained at a garda station in Dublin.
A spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing.”
