Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of another man’s body in Mallow, Co Cork.
The body of the man, aged in his 40s, was found at Rockview Terrace, Doneraile, in the early hours of Sunday.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place at Cork University Hospital.
The two arrested men, one aged in his 20s and the other in his late teens, were detained on Monday under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda stations in the county.
The results of the post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation, which is ongoing.
