What will probably be one of the most popular Irish events this Christmas has been announced.
Billionaire John Collison's Laois mansion Abbey Leix House is to host his second Santa Grotto and a lovely Christmas Market.
It was first held last Christmas when the tickets to visit Santa sold out rapidly, with all profits going to charity.
The exclusive Christmas event is to take place for one day only, on Saturday, December 9.
Abbeyleix House & Farm made the announcement ahead of ticket sales being opened, inviting people to save the date.
The Stripe founder who bought the house two years ago, kept on the tradition by the previous owner of hosting a summertime charity open day, but has added a Christmas event too.
Last June the open day brought thousands to the grounds, and included a jawdropping air display, with all the proceeds going to charities.
Tickets for the Christmas event will be available in early October.
