Olivia Attwood reveals ‘utterly humiliating’ split from husband Bradley Dack

Olivia Attwood reveals ‘utterly humiliating’ split from husband Bradley Dack

Reality star Olivia Attwood has opened up about her “utterly humiliating” split from her husband of two years, footballer Bradley Dack.

In posts to Instagram on Tuesday evening, the 34-year-old former Love Island star opened up about the breakdown of her relationship with the Gillingham midfielder.

It comes after the couple hit headlines earlier this month following a revelation that the hotel where they tied the knot did not have a marriage licence at the time of the ceremony – meaning their nuptials were not legally binding.

In a post to her 2.6 million followers, Attwood wrote: “I have stood by Brad for the last 10 years during which he lied and cheated on me multiple times.

“The breakdown of our relationship is because of this.”

The couple reportedly met in 2015 and were friends before they started their relationship, and they tied the knot in 2023.

The Loose Women panellist continued: “I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself – as I did for 10 years – covering up.

“Lying to my family and friends. Arranging therapy. Believing the grovelling apologies.

“I of course now feel like a f****** idiot (especially as more things come to the surface). I never wanted to say any of this. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating.”

In an additional post, Attwood hit out at the “disgusting things” written about her relationship in the press over recent months.

She added: “This January, when I was confronted at the screening of one my shows by someone reporting to me yet another night he had gone back with a random girl – I decided it was time to finally leave.

“I’m not losing my job, I’m not pulling the wool over any one eyes. Yes, I’m dating.

“Yes, I’m getting up every single day even when I have cried all night to film the shows I love filming, record my podcast, record my radio show, shoot campaigns. And, somewhere in there, TRY to move on.”

Attwood rose to fame after her stint on ITV dating show Love Island in 2017, and went on to appear in reality TV series The Only Way Is Essex as a regular cast member.

She has since featured in a string of ITV shows including The Price Of Perfection and Bad Boyfriends – and in 2023 she joined talk show Loose Women as a panellist.

Attwood’s relationship with Dack and subsequent wedding were covered across three ITV series, Olivia Meets Her Match and Olivia Marries Her Match, which followed the preparations for their big day and the ceremony itself.

Dack has been approached for comment.
