Now You See Me Live, inspired by the hit film franchise, will make its London stage debut this summer with a cast of world renowned magicians.
The first Now You See Me film was released in 2013 and follows The Horsemen, a group of four street magicians who use their skills to expose corrupt individuals and redistribute wealth.
The film franchise, which features Hollywood stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson, has previously been adapted for the stage in Australia and Singapore and will premiere in London in July.
French illusion designer, performer and TV personality Enzo Weyne and South African-born magician Gabriella Lester are among the musicians and performers who will star in the production.
Also leading the show are award-winning British magician Matthew Pomeroy and Italian illusionist and escapologist Andrew Basso.
Weyne, known for appearing on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, will oversee the production as its illusion director.
The show will have a five-week run at the London Coliseum with a mix of high-tech illusions, solo stunts and spectacles.
Now You See Me Live will open at the London Coliseum on July 31 and will run until September 6, with tickets to go on general sale on Wednesday.
