Get ready to celebrate Christmas as Santa and his elves will bring holiday charity cheer to Limerick Greenway in December.
On Sunday, December 8, at 11 am, you can join Santa’s Greenway Fancy Dress Cycle, an 8km round-trip ride from the Ardagh Greenway Hub carpark to the Newcastle West Greenway carpark and back!
This family-friendly event, hosted in partnership with Limerick Mental Health Association, Flexitime, and Cardio Flourish, promises a fun day for all ages, with all proceeds going to Limerick Mental Health Association.
Children are encouraged to come dressed in their best Santa and helpers-inspired costumes, with prizes awarded in two age groups: 0-6 years and 7-12 years.
In addition to the festive cycle, there will be face painting, refreshments, and goodie bags to make the day even more special.
Tickets are €10 per child and €15 per adult, accompanying children.
Pre-booking your spot is essential and can be done so via the Flexitime portal here.
Whether you bring your own bike or rent one from local bike hire providers, this accessible, off-road trail welcomes cyclists and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Multiple entry points are available, from Rathkeale, Ardagh, Newcastle West, Barnagh, Templeglantine, and Abbeyfeale.
