A woman in her 80s has died following a single-vehicle crash in County Tipperary in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardai say it happened sometime between midnight and 2.20am in Toomevara, Nenagh.
The woman was the only occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner was notified and her body was taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem examination.
Diversions are in place while the road is closed for a technical examination.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or anyone who was in the area who may have footage such as dashcam, to contact them.
