First look at Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe in Romeo And Juliet West End show

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has been pictured as Juliet in a new West End production of Romeo And Juliet for the first time.

The 23-year-old can be seen wearing an off-white corset and white shorts, and also a red dress, in the images, which show her kissing co-star Noah Jupe, who plays Romeo.

Sink can also be seen sitting kneeling on a bed chatting to other cast members, holding a knife and pointing at Jupe, who is wearing a black outfit.

The play is running at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London until June 20, and also stars Jamie Ankrah, Dylan Corbett-Bader and Eden Epstein.

A synopsis for the play reads: “In a minute there are many days.

“In Verona, in the height of summer, two young people meet at a party. The rest is tragedy.”

The play is directed by Robert Icke, who previously directed Oedipus and The Doctor, and is produced by Empire Street Productions, which worked on singer Self Esteem’s A Complicated Woman production.

Sink will also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is due to be released in July.

The Texas-born actress rose to prominence in theatre, where she played the title role in the musical Annie and a young Elizabeth II in historical play The Audience on Broadway.

She made her film debut in sports drama Chuck (2017), before achieving fame for her role as Maxine Mayfield in Netflix sci-fi drama Stranger Things from 2017 to 2025.

Sink has also appeared in films such as The Glass Castle (2017), Eli (2019) and The Whale (2023).

Tickets are on sale now via the play’s website.
