Met Éireann issues St Stephen's Day weather warning for six counties

Localised flooding a possibility as conditions look set to deteriorate
MET Éireann has extended its latest weather warnings to include four additional counties.
The forecaster had issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry with "thundery and blustery rain" expected late on St Stephen's Day.
However, that warning was updated this Christmas evening to include four additional counties - Clare, Galway, Waterford and Wexford.
The warnings are valid from 8pm on Tuesday to 6am on Wednesday.
Potential impacts, according to Met Éireann, include localised flooding and road users are being urged to exercise caution if travelling on St Stephen's Night.
A separate status Yellow gale warning, for all coasts of Ireland and on the Irish Sea, has also been issued for St Stephen's Day.
