Love Your Spine, the annual spinal health awareness initiative by Chiropractix, is returning this February, offering local residents in Carrick-on-Shannon and Longford Town the opportunity to take a proactive step towards better spinal health.
Running from February 9th to 14th, the Love Your Spine event includes complimentary chiropractic consultations, featuring a spine and posture check carried out by fully qualified, registered, and insured chiropractors.
The initiative aims to help people better understand how their spine is functioning and how it may be affecting their movement, comfort, and day-to-day wellbeing.
Modern lifestyles place significant demands on the spine. Long hours sitting at desks, repetitive work, physical labour, sports activity, and everyday stress can all contribute to stiffness, discomfort, and reduced mobility over time. Often, these changes happen gradually and are ignored until pain becomes persistent or begins to interfere with daily life.
The Love Your Spine consultations are designed to be informative and preventative. During the appointment, the chiropractor will assess posture, spinal movement, and areas of tension, and discuss how lifestyle factors may be influencing spinal health. Attendees will receive personalised feedback and professional guidance, with no obligation to continue care.
The event is suitable for adults of all ages, whether currently experiencing back or neck pain, recovering from injury, or simply interested in maintaining good spinal health. Many people attend Love Your Spine each year as a way to “check in” on their spine before small issues develop into bigger problems.
Chiropractix operates clinics across Ireland and is known for its patient-centred, evidence-based approach to chiropractic care. The Carrick-on-Shannon and Longford Town clinics are part of this wider network and remain committed to supporting local communities through accessible and professional care.
Appointments during Love Your Spine week are limited, and booking is required.
