The 50 Plus Show returns to the Greenhills Hotel Limerick for the third consecutive year

The 50 Plus Show in Association with Specsavers, Ireland’s lifestyle event for people 50 and over is returning to the Greenhills Hotel this November the 12th & 13th

Over 60 exhibits, demonstrations and workshops covering, health, hobbies & pastimes, rights & entitlements, volunteering, recruitment, personal finance, internet tuition, food, fashion, coin and stamp collecting and home and abroad holidays will be taking part at the event on the 12th & 13th of November.

Popular features will be cooking demonstrations with Kate Wright plus a series of arts & crafts workshops where participants can create and take home their work – all for free.

The Irish Heart Foundation will be conducting free health checks and Sinead Ryan from Newstalk and the Irish Independent will be speaking on wills, inheritance and the fair deal scheme and available to answer your queries afterwards. Coin, stamp and collectable expert Mike Kelly will also be on hand to value your items as well as bridge workshops with Michael O’Loughlin.

Open the door to the digital world with Hi Digital at the Cork 50 Plus Show

Hi Digital is a step-by-step course designed for anyone who needs a bit of help developing their digital skills, particularly those who have rarely or never been online.

Visit the Alone stand at the 50 Plus Show where you can get tips and advice for getting online, and browse the course topics with our experts – hobbies and travel, online banking, entertainment and shopping, connecting with friends and family, and more. A number of companies/bodies will also be exhibiting looking for people to volunteer or join their club or society.

Interact with Artificial Intelligence Demonstrations

Curious as to how Artificial Intelligence can benefit your life and want to take part in AI Workshops and share your feedback, making sure your voice helps shape the future of AI?

Age Friendly AI will be hosting AI Literacy workshops as part of their Share Your Thoughts Campaign at the event.

Getting to the Greenhills Hotel plus a Free Goody Bag for all

The Greenhills Hotel has over 300 car parking spaces with the organisers also organising a Free Shuttle Bus Service from Colbert Train Station to the venue – a timetable is available at seniortimes.ie.

Plus everyone who attends will receive a free goody bag which will include the latest issue of SeniorTimes Magazine, Ireland’s only dedicated magazine for people who don’t act their age.

The 50 Plus Show in Association with Specsavers is taking place in the Greenhills Hotel & Conference Centre on the 12th & 13th of November and is open from 10am – 4pm on both days
