An island, which has had a lot of reaction on popular social media platform TikTok could be yours for €95k.

Big yellow island, which is located in Athlone, Co Roscommon is currently up for sale.

TikTok creator hannahbyrne98  shared the island to her followers and said: "If this doesn't convince you to buy an island I don't know what will."

Many users have reacted under the video, one user said: "Can we acknowledge that it’s cheaper to own an island than a house in Ireland…."

Another user said: "Yeah but there's no 24 hour Spar or deli."

Hannah has grown traction on TikTok recently for her showcasing of Ireland's cheapest and most expensive homes.

Her funny and witty personality helps to soften the blow for users who "can't afford" the million euro homes she reviews.

This island is  is located north of the busy and vibrant town of Athlone on Lough Ree. It is situated approximately 500m off the shore of the award winning Hodson Bay Hotel where one can enjoy activities such as boating, water skiing, cruising, fishing, golfing and exploring the local area. It is also very close to Athlone Boat Club and Lough Ree Yacht Club.
