Gardai have stood down a missing person appeal for a 72-year-old man from County Cork who vanished from his home in Castlemartyr on Tuesday September 23.
In an update, issued on Tuesday night, they say that Gerard Kelleher has been "found safely" and that no further action is required.

He was reported missing having last been seen in the Midleton area around 12:20 pm on Tuesday September 23, sparking an urgent nationwide appeal.
While gardai have confirmed Gerard has been located, no further information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana has thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with the appeal.
