LIVE: Faithfuls claim victory as final Traitor caught as in The Traitors Ireland Finale

Faithfuls Kelley, Vanessa and Oyin have won the first ever season of The Traitors Ireland

Faithfuls Kelley, Vanessa and Oyin have won the first ever season of The Traitors Ireland and secured their share of the €42,900 prize pot following a dramatic final banishment which saw the final two Traitors eliminated from the game.

From the very beginning of the final episode of The Traitors Ireland, fans were on the edge of their seats as the group began their campaigns for the win from the breakfast table.

Oyin and Kelley were first in and for the first time this series Nick and Ben were brought up as potentially being Traitors together.

As the others entered breakfast, they all reflected on their time on the show, with Ben saying he got the full experience getting to be both a Faithful and a Traitor, while Nick had similar feelings but added: “It has been unbelievable and I got to do the whole thing with Ben.”

With the group divided into two distinct alliances, Traitors Nick and Ben as well as Faithfuls Vanessa and Oyin, all are agreed that Faithful Kelley’s vote will prove most important at the final roundtable.

The final mission sees a massive €10,000 to be won for the final prize pot, in order to win the money, the group must hunt for crystals representing each of the five elements.

They had one hour to answer clues, to find maps to lead them to the crystals to open a door to find the money. Kelley comments that: “My bank account has never seen 5 figures, it would change my life.”

Once they found all five crystals they matched it to each element correctly, securing the €10,000 making the final prize pot for the finale €42,900.

On the way back from the mission, Kelley and Nick were in a car alone discussing gameplan, with Kelley saying: “Maybe when Paudie realized he was gone he decided to write down the name of the person he is angry at or the person he recruited’s name.

The final roundtable saw tensions at an all-time high with Nick and Ben accusing Vanessa of being a Traitor, while Vanessa backed by Oyin accuses Nick.

With the vote split with two votes for Nick and two for Vanessa, the tie breaking vote comes down to Kelley.

Kelley casts her vote for Nick who is then banished from the castle, when asked if he had anything to say by host Siobhan he said: “‘It’s only a game and Paudie was half right I am a Traitor."

Siobhan then says: “It is for you to decide how that effects the game going forward next time, I see you we will be playing endgame.”

The final four then gather at a fireplace outside the castle entrance, greeted by Siobhan saying: “‘Welcome my final four – you are all now in control of the game you can now chose to end the game, if you do so u can split the prize pot but if a Traitor remains they take it all for themselves.”

She then tells them they each have the choice between two ‘ceremonial pouches’, one will ignite the fire meaning the player wishes to banish again, and the other will not light it. They are warned that if even one player wishes to banish again, they must all then cast a vote.

All four players drop their pouches in the fire, all having chosen to banish again.

Once they made their final pleas, they are given a chalkboard to cast their votes on. Ben votes for Vanessa, while all other votes are cast for Ben.

Upon his banishment, he reveals to the final three that he is a Traitor.

Siobhan then asks each of the final three to throw a ceremonial pouch into the fire, everyone choses to end the game.

They then one by reveal that they are Faithful and celebrations erupt with Siobhan confirming they will each receive an equal share of the prize fund.
