There's a great range of guests lined up for Friday night's season opener of the Late Late Show on RTÉ with the likes of Mary Robinson, Conor Murray, Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell joining Patrick Kielty in studio.

Hollywood A-listers Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell will meet up with Patrick to chat about their upcoming film ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’.

They will share stories from set and their experience of working together for the first time.

Ahead of the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles this weekend, Colin will chat about his nomination for The Penguin, while Margot will reflect on the global success of Barbie.

Michael Flatley will join Patrick to reflect on his decision not to run for the presidency in the 2025 election and his reasons behind it. He will talk about his personal journey with cancer and his involvement with a new exhibition by Breakthrough Cancer Research.

Former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson will join Patrick to discuss urgent global issues, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

She will share insights of her recent experience visiting the Gazan border and speak about the role of international leadership in what the UN World Health Organisation has declared a man-made famine.

Retired Irish rugby star Conor Murray will join Patrick to talk about his new autobiography ‘Cloud Nine’, reflect on his decorated career on the field, and how he found the courage to continue playing shortly after a road traffic collision left his father seriously injured.

Music on the night will come from Kodaline’s Steve Garrigan.

The Late Late Show can be watched on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player from Friday, September 12 at 9:35 pm.
