'It is blackmail': Last remaining Traitor in hit RTÉ show issues ultimatum to Faithful son

In the latest episode of The Traitors Ireland, viewers saw another Traitor being banished from the castle, leaving Paudie - the sole remaining Traitor - giving his own son Andrew an ultimatum

The latest episode of The Traitors Ireland saw Katelyn being banished from the castle, leaving Paudie, as the sole remaining Traitor, giving his Faithful son Andrew the ultimate ultimatum at the end of the episode – join him or be murdered.

The Traitors Ireland has reached the halfway mark of the series following the conclusion of its second week with fans having to wait an agonising five days to see how the father-son drama unfolds.

Fans of the RTÉ show are on the edge of their seats as tension have reached boiling point in this week's episodes with Faithful and Traitors fighting and scheming against one another.

Following a second successful roundtable, the Faithfuls banished Katelyn, leaving Paudie as the only Traitor remaining in the conclave.

After the banishment of Eamon on Monday night and Katelyn on Tuesday, Paudie has decided to try and recruit his son Andrew to join him in the conclave, though fans will have to wait till Sunday nights episode to see if he accepts.

This also comes after Faithful Nick refused Katelyn and Paudie’s attempt to recruit him to join them as a Traitor.

Nick’s refusal to join the conclave, strengthening his belief that Katelyn is a Traitor. Along with fellow Faithful Ben, they came up with a plan to keep her in the game knowing she is a Traitor but instead target Andrew for banishment, despite knowing he was a Faithful.

Blind sighting him at the round, Andrew successfully argued his case, and it was ultimately Katelyn who received the most votes and was banished.

When the group should have be celebrating catching a second Traitor in a row, Faithfuls Nick and Ben brought down the mood as they began criticizing the others for banishing an “obvious” Traitor arguing that they could have used her to their advantage in the game.

Once the group separates for the night host Siobhan McSweeney meets with Paudie in the conclave and reveals the biggest twist in the game yet to him.

He may once again attempt to recruit a Faithful, but should they refuse, they will immediately be murdered.

It is then revealed that Paudie will be attempting to recruit his son Andrew, however fans will have to wait till Sunday night’s episode to see Andrew’s decision.

Fans of the show have called Paudie’s decision to recruit his own son and the Traitors first ever “nepo baby.”

Fans of the show can continue to tune in and watch The Traitors Ireland on RTÉ One and RTE Player every Sunday at 9:30 pm and Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:35 to watch the game unfold.
