Gardai have stood down a missing person appeal for a 14-year-old girl who vanished from her home in Portlaoise earlier this week.
In an update, issued this Friday, they say that Aliyah Smyth Donnelly has been located "safe and well" and that no further action is required.

The 14-year-old was reported missing from Portlaoise in County Laois on Monday sparking an urgent nationwide appeal.
Amid concerns for her wellbeing, gardai sought the help from members of the public in locating Aliyah who was last seen in Portlaoise on the evening of Monday, August 25.
While gardai have confirmed Aliyah has been located, no further information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana has thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with the appeal.
