ALERT: Gardai seek information on French-registered car as concerns grow for missing man

Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier,20, has been reported missing from his home in Baltimore, County Cork

An Garda Síochána is seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a young man who has vanished in County Cork. 

They say Jean-Baptiste Cordonnier, 20, was reported missing from his home in Baltimore, west Cork on Thursday morning but that he was reportedly last seen in the town at approximately 11am this Friday. 

The 20-year-old is described as being 5'7" tall, of a slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes. 

In their appeal, gardai say both the and Jean-Baptiste's family are concerned for his wellbeing and they are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them.

Gardai say Jean-Baptiste is believed to be travelling in a French-registered silver Peugeot 206 car. 

Anyone with information on Jean-Baptiste's whereabouts or who may have spotted the car are asked to contact Clonakilty garda station in Cork on 023 882 1570, the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any other garda station.
