Tractors, machinery and sheds destroyed in devastating fire on farm in Cavan

A fundraiser has been set up after tractors, machinery and sheds were destroyed in a devastating fire on farm in County Cavan.

William Ebbitt set up a gofundme page on behalf of Heaslip Agri Contractors and has raised over €6k towards the goal of €180k after they were victims of a fire which took most of their equipment.

William said: "We are fundraising on behalf of Heaslip Agri Contractors, who were the victims of a horrendous fire that claimed much of their machinery and their business that has taken many years to put together. We would be most grateful if the community could support the family involved by donating whatever possible to this very worthy cause and make a massive difference to this family run business.

The money raised will be used to replace the damaged tractors, machinery and sheds that were destroyed in the blaze.

Your support is greatly appreciated at this difficult time."
