Strict rules for All-Ireland Quarter Finals – What you need to know ahead of Croke Park

GAA fans are being reminded to keep the venue 'safe and enjoyable' for everyone
Ahead of the All-Ireland Football Quarter Finals at Croke Park this Saturday and Sunday, GAA fans are being reminded to keep the venue "safe and enjoyable" for everyone.
Saturday's double-header will see Armagh play Roscommon at 4pm and Dublin play Galway at 6.15pm and Sunday's double-header will see Donegal play Louth at 1.15pm and Kerry play Derry at 3.15pm.
In an effort to ensure the matches are enjoyed by all, the GAA have said that patrons should keep their original tickets either in hand or in their phone, not to screenshot the ticket for attendence.
In instances of transfers, tickets can be transferred using the Ticketmaster transfer function and e-tickets should be downloaded in advance of arrival at the stadium and added to your 'wallet'.
The GAA are also once again reminding patrons that it is illegal to use a flare in a public space and all flares and smoke cannisters are strictly prohibited in the stadium.
It is said by the GAA that additional search and security measures will be in place this weekend and there will be strict enforcement by An Garda Síochána at the venue.
The following are also not permitted:
- Entering the pitch or causing harm or disruption to players, referees, or officials.
- Unauthorised contact with the boundary wall or pitch, including climbing structures.
- Throwing objects onto the pitch.
- Loitering in gangways or aisles.
- Offensive or indecent behavior.
- Excessive noise, including from radios or appliances, or any behavior causing confusion or nuisance.
- Smoking outside designated areas.
