Taoiseach Simon Harris met with punters and posed for hundreds of selfies while out and about during the final day of this year's National Ploughing Championships in County Laois.
The Fine Gael leader went for a walkabout this Thursday morning having met with representatives of the IFA as well as public and civil servants who are representing a variety of State agencies and Government departments at the Ploughing.
While some people raised local issues of concern, most people were just happy to meet the Taoiseach and to pose for a selfie with him when they met him.
Those who met Simon Harris during the walkabout included people of all ages from across the country. There were a large number of school children who were enjoying a "day off school" and one pupil even received a hand-written 'no homework' note from the Taoiseach.
