Nicola Coughlan discusses filming intimate scenes in Bridgerton

Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has spoken about filming those hot and heavy scenes in the Netflix hit series show. 

Coughlan originally from Galway who plays Penelope Featherington in the show is set to have her romantic moment on the next season of Bridgerton as she explores her romance with Colin Bridgerton played by Luke Newton. 

The series is set to be released in two parts with the first part being released on May, 16 and part two on June, 13.

Coughlan spoke about how it was "nerve-wracking" filming intimate scenes with a close friend but after while it became fun in a recent interview on This Morning.

Coughlan said: "It is really nerve-wracking but thankfully I have known Luke for four years and he is a super nice guy. It does make it worse at the beginning but better in reality because we could kind of have a laugh with it and it was kinda liberating and quite fun to do which I wouldn't of thought before. We had an amazing intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot and we had a lot to say in what we wanted to do which was great because we really felt like we were in control."
